With an eye for any style, Carlos has a special passion for period pieces.
Carlos started his career in the indie film industry, working as Production Designer and Art Director on more than 30 feature films. However, his big-break arrived when he had the opportunity to work as an Art Director in Season 8 of the acclaimed 20th Century Fox television series 24. This also led him to design and art direct two episodes of the award winning Showtime series Homeland and a hand full of tv series for media giants such History Channel, CMT and Netflix.
Following his passion for film, in 2010, he joins forces with his brother Camilo Osorio and forms Solid Brothers Films, with the sole purpose of producing and directing engaging projects. The same year, he makes his debut as Director and Producer with the film In the Void; film that received an official selection laurel in the Cannes International Film Festival, as well as many other accolades. His second project as Director and Producer is the film 7 Visions of the Amen, an extraordinary fusion of Olivier Messiaen’s musical masterpiece and contemporary dance. The film premiered in the 54th Cartagena International Film Festival and it officially represented Colombia in the Hispano Scope, Spain\'s most important film festival in Brussels.
In 2016 he takes Solid Brothers films to his native country, opening local offices in Bogota with the goal of growing the film industry in Colombia. Solid Brothers Films, will offer opportunities to international media Producers to film in Colombia and take advantage of the new Colombian Film Incentives offered by the Colombian government.
