His most recent position was executive producer in Colombia for the Australian film Jungle, starring world-famous actor Daniel Radcliffe; before that, he also worked on producing The Belko Experiment and Amazonas.

He was a production assistant for Warner TV series and movies by Columbia Pictures, Miryad, and Gold Circle. From 2001 to 2003, he participated in the development, production, post-production, and theatrical release in the US and Colombia of the feature film Maria Full of Grace, from the company Journeyman Films, produced by Paul Mezey for HBO Films. From 2004 to 2006, he partnered with Jaime Osorio Gómez to produce the film Satanás by Andrés Baiz.

From 2006 to 2014, he was a partner and producer at the Bogota-based audiovisual production and financing company Dynamo, where he participated in films including Sebastián Cordero’s Rage, Javier Fuentes-León’s Undertow, and Andrés Baiz’s The Hidden Face. In 2014, he joined with Mexican producer Alex García to found the company Itaca Films Colombia, a subsidiary of the AG Studios group, with offices in Mexico, Los Angeles, and Rio de Janeiro. With Itaca Films, Guerrero has produced the feature film Amazonas, composed of five short films by prominent Colombian directors; the web series Juan de la House for ETB; the web series Bacaneados for Águila Cero; and two music videos for the singer Wisin, directed by Jessy Terrero. It also provided production services in Colombia for The Belko Experiment for Metro Goldwyn Mayer and for Jungle for Arclight Films.
