A conservation site for native fauna and flora species of the Eastern Andean highlands and their moorlands. It is located 7 kilometers southeast of the city, in the Barón Germania Vereda. It covers an area of 159 hectares and ranges in altitude from 3,050 to 3,200 meters above sea level. The climate is cold and very humid, featuring a moorland area with plants native to this fragile ecosystem, such as the frailejón, as well as a wet forest area with encenillos, moss, quiches, lichens, orchids, bromeliads, siete cueros morado, tunos, salvio, romero, uva camarona, mortiño, arrayán, and chusque, which create a truly spectacular visual and environmental landscape.
