Barrio Abajo is the scene of the Carnival’s Museum, the route of the “Marimonda” and it has the status of cultural interest of Barranquilla. It is a traditional neighborhood where you will find the Anglo-Saxon architecture in buildings such as the Montoya Station and the Old Custom building which were built in the 1860s and 1920s, respectively.
