Historic bridge in the center of Popayan with 12 arches. The origin of the name is due to the fact that the area had a significant incline, which made it necessary to lower one’s head, giving rise to the name of the bridge.
It opened in July 1873 and since then it has become one of the most popular bridges in the area, a place where visitors often go.
