This year, the BAM - Bogotá Audiovisual Market returned to the in person activities where we, Proimágenes Colombia's Film Commission, were part of the academic offer at this encounter of the Colombian audiovisual industry.
As a result of our global exchange experiences, we have come to understand the importance of establishing an articulation between the tourism sector and the growing Colombian audiovisual industry. Our goal is not only consolidate the country as a world-class production destination, but also to contribute to national economic development of tourism market in the territories where international and local productions shoot.
Through this face-to-face talk, which took place on July 15 at the BAM - Bogotá Audiovisual Market Experience venue, we sough to open a conversation with tourism agents and members of local production teams.

Thanks to the participation of Verónica Echeverri, Manager of Industries 4.0 at Procolombia, Camila Flórez, Deputy Director of Promotion at the Film Commission of Proimágenes Colombia, Emerson Espinosa, location manager and producer, and the moderation of Nicolás Peña, editor of Colombia Visible in Caracol and W Radio, we managed to come up with some ideas about how to establish Colombia as a film tourism destination.
