Centennial Park is considered by many as the lung of Ibagué because it stands tall as a large green mass in the middle of the city center. It is an open space for the public, primarily used for exercise, as its long paths, fresh atmosphere, and views shaped by lush trees make it ideal for athletes. But above all, it is used for cultural events. For this purpose, there is the Garzón and Collazos Acoustic Shell, a plaza dating back to 1983, named in honor of the musical duo formed by Darío Garzón and Eduardo Collazos.
