Pueblito Boyacense, an architectural showcase of Boyacá, features 124 homes and 20 commercial spaces. These are in turn located within 7 small squares that each combine the charm of the most beautiful towns in Boyacá, such as Villa de Leyva, Tibasosa, Tenza, Sáchica, El Cocuy, Monguí, and Ráquira. Each replica of these towns comprises 16 houses, each designed with the architecture of the represented town. The buildings are based on Boyacá’s architecture, highlighting important aspects such as clay tiles, cobblestone streets, adobe, wall armadillo, solid wood, chuzque, wooden balconies, the tornado, the alforja, and lanterns. It was declared a cultural and tourist heritage of Boyacá in 2006.
