Inspired by true events, “Los Billis” will be released on November 3, 2023.
Prime Video revealed the official trailer for “Los Billis” a series written and created by Daniel Ayala López (“Manes”) and Diego Ayala López (“Manes”) and directed by Juan Felipe Cano (“Siempre fui yo”) and Mateo Stivelberg (“Las Villamizar” and “Cochina envidia”). Los Billis is produced by AG Studios for Prime Video, with executive producers Rodrigo Guerrero (“Los iniciados”) and Cristina Echeverri “'Los iniciados”).
Inspired by real-life events, “Los Billis” is a coming-of-age story about a group of friends from Multicentro, an upper-class neighborhood in Bogota that had the first and most prominent shopping mall of the time. Led by El Indio, a teenager who seeks to become the most feared, their rebelliousness turns them into a group admired for their outfits and parties, making them an urban legend. However, when their need for power gets out of control, "Los Billis" will be forced to understand that the world outside their parties can be a cruel place.
The cast includes: Nicolás Santa, Santiago Rodríguez, Julián Zuluaga, Francisca Esteves (“La primera vez”), Juan Sebastián Pedraza, Camila Jurado, Camilo Amores (Narcos), Angela Rodríguez, Valentina Duque, Cecilia Navia (“La primera vez”, “Cochina envidia”), Carolina Gómez, Roberto Cano, Luis Fernando Hoyos (“Narcos”) and Simón Elías “'Manes”).
"Los Billis" will join the list of international movies and TV shows in Prime Video's catalog, including Colombian Amazon Original productions such as "Cochina envidia", "Gospel", Primate" and "A grito herido", all beneficiaries of the Audiovisual Investment Certificates - CINA of Law 1556, granted by the National Government and administered by the Colombia Film Commission.
