Netflix premieres the movie "Historia de un crimen: Mauricio Leal"; on November 22, a production with Dynamo audiovisual services, beneficiary of the CINA incentive for audiovisual production in Colombia.
Inspired by real events, the story follows the incident in which the stylist Mauricio Leal and his mother, Marleny Hernández, were found dead in their home in the municipality of La Calera, east of Bogota, between the night of November 21 and the early morning of November 22, 2021. The film follows a young investigator who must solve the case 20 days before the statute of limitations expires. What apparently appeared to be a
suicide quickly turned into the suspicion of a crime, which gave way to one of the most mysterious and mediatic cases in the country.
"Historia de un crimen: Mauricio Leal" is a Dynamo production for Netflix, directed and written by Jacques Toulemonde, starring Juana del Río, Johan Velandia, Alejandro Gómez, Myriam de Lourdes, Nelson Camayo and Ernesto Benjumea. rebate equivalent to 35% of the expenditure on audiovisual services in the country.
