Kill Chain
One of the essential requirements to apply for a Courtesy Type V Visa is the Certification issued by the Ministry of Culture (Authorization to Shoot in the National Territory) or by the Colombian Film Commission (Certification of Foreign Audiovisual Work). This document is individual and non-transferable, and guarantees that the foreigner enters Colombia to perform professional work in a foreign audiovisual project.
- If your project is a cinematographic work (feature film or short film) you must request the Authorization to Shoot in the National Territory, issued by the Ministry of Culture, by sending these documents to the following e-mail addresses:
idacosta@mincultura.gov.co and griano@mincultura.gov.co. This service is free of charge. - If your project is an audiovisual format other than a cinematographic work (series, music videos, video games, among others), you must request the Certification of Foreign Audiovisual Work, issued by the Colombian Film Commission, following these instructions. This service has a cost of 1 legal Colombian monthly minimum salary per application.
