Beto Rosero is a producer, location manager and documentary filmmaker with a bachelor's degree in Social Communication and Journalism who has built a career around arthouse filmmaking intended to spur social change. He was a Bammer, or young national talent, at the Bogotá Audiovisual Market 2015 and winner of the Barranquilla Audiovisual Fund that same year. He belonged to the Semillero Colfuturo and Proimágenes 2019 and has been the winner of Ministerio de Cultura Scholarships as a Regional Talent for Colombian Cinema in 2019, and as a New Creator in 2020.

He is a Talents Buenos Aires class of 2022, Global Climate Storyteller Network, and Global Impact Producer member. His projects have participated at TorinoFilmLab, Marché du Film, ChileDoc, DocMontevideo, MiradasDoc Pitch, and BAM Projects. He has produced and directed TV Series, and the short film Two-Spirit (2021), distributed by The New Yorker and selected by 50 film fests worldwide, such as IDFA, Palm Springs, NFMLA, Amnesty, and many others. A short nominee for the 2022 IDA Documentary Awards by the International Documentary Association, and Macondo Awards 2022, by the Colombian Academy of Cinematography Arts and Sciences. He has been a curator for FICCI-Cartagena International Film Festival, and recently he was the Field Producer for Raccoon City, a russian movie filmed in Cartagena de Indias.
